Very bright and doesn't affect your night vision that much

If you're looking for a red night light, you probably already know that red light doesn't affect your night vision as much as other colors of visible light. You can use red light and still see when you go to a darker place. They're pretty easy to use - just plug them into an outlet and wait for it to get dark. There is a photo sensor on the front that controls how brightly the night light shines. The darker it gets in the room, the brighter the night light burns. The sensor is quite sensitive. I can activate it by walking in front of the light on a cloudy day. At full intensity, it emits enough light to dimly but fully illuminate a small room. Far from the intensity of a flashlight, but enough to keep you from stumbling in the middle of the night. I measured the power consumption at approx. 0.021A (approx. 2.5W). This was with a clamp ammeter so I won't swear by the results but it seems reasonable given the headlights don't get hot even at full power. Each lightbulb will probably cost you less than $2 to run 8 hours a day for a whole year. The only downside is that it's creepy as hell watching your bathroom glow a faint red light when you're half asleep and the house is covered in tar. -Black. But a broken toe is worse, and since I tend to leave things in a pile where they shouldn't, I give myself a chance to fight without turning off the night light.
