I have several young children and butterflies so the most important aspect of the cases I buy for my devices is repeatable drop protection while still retaining the whole point of one be tablet easy. Otterbox cases offer protection but no weight. I used to be a big fan of special cases. They appear to have sacrificed repeatable drop protection in favor of weight and design. One drop of their iPad case this generation and you need a new case. My workspace has STM cases for their iPad Pro so I gave it a try. The protection and weight of the hull are top notch. The only drawback is the case. It doesn't work as a kickstand like other cases, so keep that in mind.
