📱 Durable STM Dux Case in Midnight Blue for Apple iPad 5th/6th Gen / 9.7" - stm-222-160JW-04 Review

At first I thought this case was great. Very durable to fall off and the magnetic lid was amazing. The reason I returned it was because the iPad doesn't stand up easily. This is a disadvantage. It took a bit of fiddling to get the iPad sleeve to stay in place under two small plastic hooks on the back. I tried again and again, but mostly it slipped and fell off. If they fix the stand then it would be perfect. As of now I returned it for the Zugu which has great positions for the iPad to stand up

I've bought three different iPad cases from STM over the years and have always been very happy with their products. I tried a similar case from UAG for my new iPad, was absolutely dissatisfied with it and returned it to a case from STM.

I wanted an iPad case for my son that would provide protection but he wanted to be able to use the included stand. This case was recommended by someone at Apple. It seems to offer good drop protection, but the kickstand is a little flimsy.

I bought a case for this iPad from Apple less than 6 months ago (when I bought the iPad) but I needed a new one because the original case broke easily ( I never took the iPad outside at home). Anyway, I love this new case! It is very durable and fits the iPad perfectly. The only problem I have is that sometimes it's difficult to turn it on and off. So if you don't have good manual dexterity, this could be a problem. I would order this case again!

The case isn't the cheapest, but it's solid. We tried another well-known brand first, but the lid came off in less than a week. This case holds up great. The kickstand mechanism is also solid compared to others.

I have several young children and butterflies so the most important aspect of the cases I buy for my devices is repeatable drop protection while still retaining the whole point of one be tablet easy. Otterbox cases offer protection but no weight. I used to be a big fan of special cases. They appear to have sacrificed repeatable drop protection in favor of weight and design.
