Chemically sensitive family! It says it's organic and everything has been sanitized etc etc but the smell is kind of a CHEMICAL smell to me. Whatever it is, it's very strong and makes me feel bad. I get migraines easily and I would NOT recommend this product for the medically sensitive or anyone so you can take care of your health by reducing your exposure to chemicals and toxins - why expose yourself to that every night for a few bucks to save? "I was very excited to receive this blanket - and actually used it last night as I was hoping the smell would go away as I've read some people have reported it. BUT I've already washed and pre-washed 3 more times and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I dried it slightly on low heat and used wool drying balls with a few drops of organic lavender essential oil which I can't smell at all because the chemical smell is too strong! Even the 6 year old daughter says it smells strong. Now I don't know what to do or how to find it. I am surprised that so many people have received such positive reviews for this product. I also HATE REFUNDS and don't have time for it due to COVID and all and homeschooling 2 kids 3 due to COVID. Unfortunately I am also ordering a twin of this version for her but I have to cancel it. What do other people recommend for a REALLY GOOD, high quality, NATURAL duvet?
