Organic cotton and feathers from responsible production

Before I decided to do this, I read about different types of cotton duvets and comforters. The price along with 100% organic cotton and responsibly sourced feathers were also the key features that cemented this purchase for me. In order to live more sustainably and remove toxins from our homes and our environment, we looked for products from natural sources.

Sheds a lot of dust and feathers

This blanket is very comfortable and offers perfect warmth, but feathers and scales ooze EVERYWHERE. Every time you move it, dust flies everywhere. A week later it covered my room with a thick layer of dust that caused all sorts of coughing and insomnia at night and for that reason I had to return it. Be sure to buy a blanket with a lot of threads!

Very itchy too hot and sheds so much

I had high hopes for this comforter and have been using it for a few months now but I really can't take it anymore. 1 yields a lot. I use it in my duvet cover, but goose down is a constant feature of my room, not to mention the thorns that occasionally prick me from the inside while I sleep. 2. VERY hot. It's not easy, but on a typical day in San Francisco, I actually wake up in a sweat. where it is constantly 65 degrees cold every day of the year. So that says a lot. Maybe I got a defective…

It DOES NOT SMELL "ORGANIC " AT ALL (made in China)?! WASHED 3 times already! EVEN very strong!

Chemically sensitive family! It says it's organic and everything has been sanitized etc etc but the smell is kind of a CHEMICAL smell to me. Whatever it is, it's very strong and makes me feel bad. I get migraines easily and I would NOT recommend this product for the medically sensitive or anyone so you can take care of your health by reducing your exposure to chemicals and toxins - why expose yourself to that every night for a few bucks to save?
