We used to buy these walkie talkies for our hotel staff and lately they have been terrible. We had to send one back which was not working upon arrival and charging. He was replaced and died less than a year later. Yet another, the charging base was not charging and one of the other radios was not charging. 3 died in less than a year of use. It's not the battery, we bought a new battery and tested it for dead batteries and managed to withstand the other. The radio just died. You feel like you're getting more than 7-8 months for the $$$ spent, but that's no longer the case. Of 4 radios, 1 works. All radios are over $160 each. Didn't impress. As for the seller, he packs quickly and reliably. They quickly took back our package as soon as it arrived and it didn't work. They provided great service, I just feel like Motorola isn't a good choice for radios anymore. We got 6 packs of radios for the money we spent on a Motorola and they lasted us for a year.
