filled with water based liquid came out perfect and sprayed in a fine mist as described. The one I filled with an oil-based liquid sprayed in a straight stream rather than a fine mist, which was amazing (and a bit messy). I even tried twisting and adjusting it, like a Windex bottle, like a mannequin, because I knew they didn't work that way. So I was surprised at the difference between the type of spray I received with different liquids inside. I will continue to use them and will probably buy more, but don't expect miracles from this fine mist atomizer.
