Review on Koss UR10i Lightweight Headphone, Black: Unparalleled Audio Experience by Shedrick Roach

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive for the price with very decent sound quality!

I bought these to keep on my bedside table if I wanted to hear or see something on my phone at night as I have a bad habit of reading the morning news at night before bed. It's an old habit, like I did when newspapers were in fashion, but they didn't emit blue light. Anyway, I wasn't looking for audiophile sound, but as a music lover and vintage vinyl dealer, I know what good sound is. I wanted something that I could silently stream music to if I wanted to listen to some tunes at night or if the item is accompanied by a video. It fits, and it actually has a really decent sound for what it is. Additionally, it has a built-in microphone so you can make or take calls, which I accidentally did once or twice, but it's a cool little feature nonetheless. Headphones are lightweight and durable. I've had my first pair for over a year and use them fairly regularly. I only had to buy this second pair when our 9 week old pup was chewing on a very thin string and they became unreliable but that was my fault and I happily searched for the exact pair to replace them and was glad to see them that they were not discontinued At the time I was happily enjoying my original pair. My only complaint is the odd fit of these shoes. I have a big head and they fit well, but something about the way they are made makes them sit a little odd on my head. That put me off at first, but in the end it didn't bother me, especially given the price. If they were more expensive or didn't sound very good, that would be a valid complaint, but given the price and sound quality, that's more of a side note than a real criticism. Headphones with a built-in mic, that's a pretty solid deal. I'll probably buy another pair as a backup for the future because I really like them for the purpose I'm using them for.
