I only gave these gloves 2 stars because they seem to be of good quality; However, my daughter has not used them so I cannot make a definitive statement about the functionality of these gloves. On the positive side, they're really nice and snuggly on the inside and the lining definitely doesn't come off the gloves. fingers (a big plus). "Grip" is also on all 5 fingers and not just on the palm and thumb. They are very cute (my 5 year old daughter chose them herself) and the velcro is very secure. Good. Now for the cons. Cons: These gloves DO NOT fit my 5 year old AT ALL. She has normal sized hands as I measured her hands using sizing charts and she is definitely the right hand size for her age. I have very large hands for a woman (about the length of an average man's hand, but very thin) and they were ALMOST large enough to carry them (about half the size I need them to be). So I cannot recommend these gloves as they are not true to size.
