Great addition to our van. The original Fan-Tastic Create a Breeze fan was too big to open and close easily. This update allows us to open and close it manually and also gives us more control over the fan speed (the old unit only had three speeds. This isn't a full replacement for the manual fan - it's an update that adds a remote control for opening and closing close, speed control and a sensor. The upgrade was easily done with the help of a friend on a few steps that required an extra hand. Nice features include the ability to override the rain sensor and manually set how far the Cap opens when you Need ventilation on a rainy day without letting rain in. Instructions need updating. Manual cap adjustment has changed from the instructions - you don't push the knob to adjust manually, you just turn it. There's a little resistance, but it's just Depending whether your device has a plate or motor case you may or may not need the jumper on the board The folks at Fan-Tastic Fan have been very helpful in solving this ue issue (I had to remove the jumper to get full functionality to have). All in all a great upgrade!
