🔧 Improved Fan-Tastic Vent 807359 Pop and Lock Screen Upgrade Kit for Model 7350 Review

My two fantastic fans are about 20 years old. Installed and I love the remote control feature. I also love that he added a rain sensor to a fan that didn't have that feature. Not so good now: The fan is said to have 13 speeds; not even close. RPM on this one works at 1200, 610, 290 and 110. Only the top four (out of 13) speeds can work. All lower speeds are zero rpm. Great addition to our van. The original Fan-Tastic Create a Breeze fan was too big to open and close easily. This update allows us to open and close it manually and also gives us more control over the fan speed (the old unit only had three speeds. Only installed today. The instructions were a bit confusing. There were three (3) sets of instructions. I think they thought they were going to take a "shotgun" approach and just send whatever could somehow be understood. In some places, the caption did not match the written instructions. Overall I am very happy with this set. We were able to install and run it in about 40 minutes. The kit installed adds many benefits to the standard fan that came with my trainer. It was difficult to achieve this height as it was installed within the ceiling structure. We needed a chair to turn the open and close handle. Actually it doesn't work. Works with some OEM installed fan vents that are clip-on models. Bracket models have rounded corners instead of square ones. Make sure your existing vent is truly square with sharp corners before ordering. One more note: I noticed that the plastic case that came with this upgrade kit was very brittle compared to the old OEM that came installed in my 2014 Lance.
