Review on 🔧 Improved Fan-Tastic Vent 807359 Pop and Lock Screen Upgrade Kit for Model 7350 by Jonathan Unruh

Be careful with rounded corners! If your vent was installed by your RV manufacturer this may not work

Actually it doesn't work. Works with some OEM installed fan vents that are clip-on models. Bracket models have rounded corners instead of square ones. Make sure your existing vent is truly square with sharp corners before ordering. One more note: I noticed that the plastic case that came with this upgrade kit was very brittle compared to the old OEM that came installed in my 2014 Lance. The old one was made of thick plastic that was difficult to bend. The upgrade kit is very thin and easy to bend. Since I didn't realize my upgrade kit didn't physically fit my vent until I connected all the wires, I was able to test the upgrade kit (even though it wasn't installed in the vent). I was very pleased with the additional speeds. My old one only had 3 speeds and the lowest setting was too high and too loud. The low speed update was very slow and very quiet - very nice. What is NOT nice is that the motor makes an extra whine when blowing in the "in" direction. My old fan didn't have a direction switch and just blew. I specifically want a fan that blows (quietly), so I wasn't happy with the whining noise. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my fan motor or something. In closing, I just want to make a general complaint that these things are outrageously overpriced. The $30 fan I got from Walmart that fits in the window of my house is better in every way except it doesn't fit a 14x14 hole in the roof. It's not like it's cutting edge technology. This is a fan, and not even a very good one. They have to be cheap.
