🔮 Galt Toys Inc Super Marble Set Review

Probably a great toy for a slightly older child. My 4/5 year old had a very difficult time keeping the pieces from falling apart and was very frustrated with it. It wasn't something he could build alone. He ended up using more blocky parts (to create smaller things like swords and "blasters" instead of structures/marble paths). At school, he uses a more durable marble walkway and can build from it himself.

Yes it is made in China and if it wasn't I would probably give it 5 stars. Another downside is that there are absolutely no instructions, suggestions, or build examples to help you put it together. I got it for 4 years but this dad finds it intimidating. Although I have to say my daughter loved it once I put it together a bit (and couldn't replicate the build in the picture). The parts feel pretty solid and fit together well.

Great toy for my 3 year old grandson. I have it at home and get it about once a week. Every time we come to my house it's "Grandpa, let's play a marbles game". Don't worry about reviews giving directions etc. Use your imagination and help little ones to use their imagination. It's a great education and even at the age of 3 my grandson enjoys rebuilding it every week and we enjoy trying new designs. We build it "offline" starting from the table etc. Very fun and highly recommended.

Bought for my 5 year old grandson. He likes it very much. Colorful durable plastic parts make assembly easy. It only took him a few minutes to set it up with minimal help. I would rate it a three, but because the kids like it I'll give it a four. The problem is how to build it. It doesn't have instructions but it's pretty easy to just make your own race BUT it's pretty flimsy and I was frustrated helping my kids assemble it. Also, you have to be patient because it can be very difficult to figure out how to make all the bridges and curves work correctly so that the balls have different trajectories! My boys are 4 and 6 and they loved this toy. It's a great concept, but it's very difficult for small children to put together, so an adult or older child should help. Even then, it's hard to build something stable. If there was a way to make the base more stable, this would be a better toy. I was surprised at the quality after reading all the horrible reviews about the cheap plastic. Ok guys this is plastic not wood so don't judge by those standards and it's good quality. We've had this run since June and my kids still enjoy playing with it. I bought this for my 5 year old's birthday. He and his friends love it. As for durability - it's about as strong as it gets - I'm not sure what people were expecting. It falls apart from time to time, but it usually happens when they try to build it too tall, or without strategic base piece placement, or when it gets knocked over because they're genuinely passionate about what they're doing.
