Review on πŸš€ Tommaso Veloce Triathlon Cycling Bundle Men's Shoes: Unleash Peak Performance by Brian Olson

Pretty good shoe by Tommaso, small quirks need ironing out

This is the first pair of road shoes I've worn and I've decided to use LOOK pedals and cleats with them. The system works great and I particularly appreciate the measurement markings on the sole of the shoe that help me position the cleats correctly. They also have a fourth cleat screw that allows you to attach a piece of cleat that will keep your previous cleat position when you switch to new ones. The ventilation in the shoe works and feels great and while I don't have any others to compare I find the shoe surprisingly light. Although this is a shoe designed for triathlon and I'm assuming a waterproof construction, it also works great to just slip into your regular road shoe. My only complaint is that the straps that run across the shoe dig into the top of the foot and create weird creases on the sides of the shoe. I don't have a very high arch and this happens. Loosening the straps a lot can reduce the pressure on the foot to the point that I don't even notice it while riding, but it doesn't eliminate the crease in the shoe. The rest of the shoes are fantastic. It has large loops on the back to make them very quick and easy to put on, as well as a retaining notch on the large strap so you don't accidentally pull the strap too far. They also look striking.

Pros
  • NOT JUST FOR TRIATHLETES: While the Veloce is arguably the best triathlon shoe out there, it's not that easy to stigmatize. Veloce works great both indoors and outdoors. From indoor cycling to road cycling and triathlon, Veloce offers consistent comfort and performance at an incredible value.
Cons
  • Only available in black
