This is my first Chromebook and I love it. The simplicity of this thing is amazing, I have an expensive Windows 10 PC that drives me crazy, I find Windows has become a very intrusive and confusing computer that bothers you with lots of notifications and popups. Trying to figure out how to disable all of these things is a real headache, Windows seems to hide all of these settings making them difficult to find. This Chromebook is nothing like that, the ease of use is like using a smartphone. I have absolutely no problems with the screen resolution, everything seems fine to me. I can't comment on the battery life as I haven't unplugged it yet. I use it strictly as a computer that stays in the same place all the time (plugged in all the time). Google Docs and Files takes a little getting used to if you've never used it, but once you get used to it you won't have any problems. It wasn't a problem for me as I already used them on my iPhone. You cannot download any third party programs as it is a closed system which is good for me as I only use it for web browsing, shopping, email and files. And since you can't download programs, you don't catch viruses either. If you need to edit photos, you can always download Photos app from Play Store. I found the storage and speed for it to be very good, it doesn't seem to slow down when a lot of tabs are open. You have many apps to download from Google Play Store that should make you happy. I don't use it to stream movies or games so can't comment on it, I'll stream stuff from YouTube with no problems. If you want a laptop that only does basic functions like me, you can't go wrong at this price point. To me it's way better than one of those cheap Windows PCs. I had an inexpensive Windows PC that I bought as a second computer to use when my wife was working on the expensive PC. I hated him so much I gave him away until he was a month old. Aside from being intrusive and confusing, it was slow as hell. This Chromebook is like a giant smartphone with a keyboard (IT'S SO SIMPLE). The only reason I took off a star is because I think it could have used another USB port, plus I like it and if you use a computer like me then so do you. hp Note that this S330 model has different specifications. My test is based on a model with a higher screen resolution (1920 x 1080) and more storage (64GB). They have a cheaper model called the S330 with a lower resolution and less memory.
