Received this as my first pair of cycling shoes. I have fairly wide feet and they were a bit tight at first but after a month of wearing I felt comfortable. Your ventilation is excellent. I can feel the breeze blowing after I stop. They are also great as street shoes as you can actually walk in them. For one thing, the metal plate into which the spikes are screwed is quite cheap and corrodes very quickly. I found this out when I changed the new cleats that came with the new pedal set. If you sweat a lot or walk through bodies of water, you might want to change them. Pull out the insole and you'll see a slot in the foam that slides back to access the plate.
