Many reviews say it was perfectly square some say "as good as Starrett". I also have machine squares, and my square didn't come out. Another evaluation shows that the 45 degree part is not a 45 degree part. I'm not sure whether to keep it or return it. I can use a jeweler's file and get a square, but I'm not familiar with the 90 and 45 degree angles. The scale has very sharp edges and looks good as it only goes to 1/16 inch making it easy to read. price is good.
