We have found that after washing a large amount of dishes, there is often a fishy odor after the rinse cycle is complete. Rough. We had a dishwasher for about 1.5 years before this occurred. After researching online, we found that this was likely due to grease build-up in areas of the dishwasher that weren't visible during use. I've tried running empty soap cycles on only the hottest settings, but that still didn't solve the problem. I researched many dishwasher cleaners and chose this one based on the price and good reviews. When we first added it to a wash, the smell difference was minimal. We tried the second round and solved the problem! After a few weeks it came back and we used the third one which was completely eliminated in almost a month. I highly recommend it if you have the same problem with smells coming from your dishwasher.
