So the thing has some problems. It's very soft and very warm, but I find it difficult to wear. We live in the north and it's very cold there, so I like the warmth. But to prevent wind and cold from getting into the sides, you have to tighten the lacing. This causes your eyes to wrinkle, your vision to be poor, and your glasses to fog up. You can get around this by wearing a baseball cap underneath to protect it from your eyes, but then I still have trouble getting wind and cold into my ears, so I have to wear a warm bandage too. I also don't like the roll of fabric at its base, and I'm going to rip the seams there to remove the roll. It doesn't seem long enough and I don't like the big role. My husband has a larger head and doesn't seem to have many problems with his head. On the plus side, the inside is very soft and comfortable.
