compatible. While it did fit, it looked poorly made compared to the OEM part, particularly the part that bolts to the drum assembly which was about 1/5th the thickness of the factory flange which was very thick and strong. Looking for. This part is also the part that prevents proper installation, as the design of the fitting does not allow the bolt holes to align with the drum without significant modification (i.e. a significant lengthening of the parking brake cable hole). The modification would likely eventually introduce moisture into the drum assembly, especially given the poor quality of that part of the cable. Ironically, given the generally poor cable design, the coiled portion of the cable that snaps into the car's body just before the cable snaps into the front of the emergency brake cable is metal and looks like it's of very high quality (the OEM and Aftermarket models I bought after not being able to install this part use plastic). My local Toyota dealer charged me $80 for the OEM part (and was warned it would be discontinued soon!). I ended up buying a "Brake Best" cable (from O'Reilley's) for $36 with one day shipping (to store). Brake Best cable looked just like the original and fitted perfectly.
