With these devices I always wait a while before inspecting them to really feel them. This review was written just over a month after using the mic for work every weekday. The microphone picks up my voice whether I wear it tight on my collar or lower on my chest. It also comes with its own volume up/down buttons. These buttons are controlled by the microphone itself, not just sending a signal to your sound card to increase the microphone volume. For example, you can set the microphone volume on your sound card to 100% and still turn up the microphone volume; I find this useful when the microphone is too quiet. The lapel clip is comfortable to wear and has a slot for extra clothing to keep the collar in place if needed. After you put it on it doesn't move (and sometimes I've been too lazy to take it off and I've even run with it on lunch break). The microphone is tilted to pick up your voice well: it's tilted slightly outwards. Such a small detail, but how many times have we used mics pointing straight up resulting in poor sound quality? Your voice comes through clearly and you'll find that you're probably the clearest person in your Zoom/Teams meetings! For example, other participants in the conversation are often asked to repeat themselves, but I have never been asked to repeat myself. I'll also add that I've been using this mic for a month now in case you missed the first line of my review :). I often walk at a pace in meetings and this mic never interrupted my signal. In fact, I've been traveling all over my apartment talking about it, and not once have people said I'd passed out (they don't even know I'm leaving!). The windshield is well done and prevents my p. It also comes with a spare windscreen should you ever need one. Unlike competing products where the windshield falls off easily, this fits securely and you can be assured it won't come off unless you decide to take it off. The transmitter is securely attached to my belt; The antenna is flexible. Even if you wear it while seated, the antenna simply moves sideways so nothing protrudes to prevent you from sitting comfortably. The good thing is that if you press and hold the large button at the bottom to start/stop broadcasting, it doesn't actually mute the sound card. Instead, the microphone turns itself on and off. So when the mic isn't on, you can be sure he's not listening silently. I tested this with Teams. When I turned off the mic, the Mute button in Teams still said On, but the mic was muted. That's exactly what I like. The battery life is around six hours and it takes around an hour to fully charge. I used this mic during a thunderstorm and was told they could hear the bass. Thunder through my microphone. I hope that gave you an idea of how good the sound quality is. One of the downsides is that there's no audible indicator for turning the mic on and off. So if you want to mute your audio, press and hold the big button on the bottom of the transmitter for about two seconds and hope for the best. To start broadcasting again, press and hold the button for about half a second. You'll get used to the times, but first you'll have to guess. The second downside is that while you can speak when the mic is plugged in and charging, there will be interference, and the interference is strong enough to make that impossible. hear your voice So you can't charge it and transfer it at the same time, or you'll get poor sound quality. I just turn it on after a very long meeting so it doesn't turn off while we're at very important business meetings!
