Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Dakine Syncline 12L Hydration Pack Black: Optimal Size and Efficiency by Carta Gutierrez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a bad bag, not good for the cold

The bag works great until you get frost or below which makes it almost useless for skiing or snowboarding. The hydration tube that attaches to the hydration bladder is 100% frost-free, rendering the pack unusable until the host thaws or you remove the hydration bladder and drink directly from it. Whatever you do, don't repeat my mistake and try to bite off the ice in the rubber mouthpiece to break it. up and get the water flowing again. The rubber around the mouthpiece is incredibly thin and you'll just bite through it. After that, you're left with a leaking hose and a useless backpack like mine. All in all a great backpack of this size for warmer climates. 0/10 for skiing or snowboarding, but not recommended for this purpose.
