Review on 🧵 Singer Sewing Machine Bobbins by NiceEshop by Gelin Battle

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Regular coils only, but all of them are only $1.39! UPDATED 8/22/2015

UPDATED 8/22/2015 Class 15 is only used in newer domestic machines with the bobbin case flip down (top near the needle). At 7/16″, they are 1/8″ larger than L, but have the same 13/16″ diameter. They are also flat on top and bottom, which is important to know as they can be confused with Class 66. **Some say that Class 15 and Class L coils are interchangeable, but they are NOT BOTH ¾ inch wide, rather the height of "L” is 5/16 inch and "15” is 3/8 inch and that is important. Used in machines that require "15" grade BUT you can use "A-156 grade" pre-wound bobbins on sewing machines that use "15" or "15J" grade bobbins ( except Singer 7000 Series and some others) SINGER & CLASS 15J Coils The Class 15J is a special class of coils used in the Singer 7400, Futura (CE-100) and Quantum Futura (CE-200) series machines. Do not use regular class 15 bobbins in these machines as they can cause tension problems and damage the bobbin case. The 15J is slightly smaller than the regular Class 15 and the edges curve slightly towards the center. This does not apply to my Singer Curvy 8780/8770 sewing machine. But when I buy bobbins to wind myself, I get the same ones that came with my machine. Regular coils only, but all of them are only $1.39!
