Our daughter loved it for her September birthday. The size was good for her. However, I noticed some oddities in the clarity of the stone in the necklace. I suppose it must be natural stone, that might explain it. It seemed to me that there was a fingerprint on the stone that could not be erased. I don't know if this can be expected from a natural sapphire or not. Maybe you just get what you pay for and don't expect better quality for the price. I'm glad she liked the gift and that's the most important thing.
