I am writing this review after using this system for almost a year. I was looking for something to help my bad TV sound. I chose this system primarily because of the cost and the fact that Polk speakers have never let me down. I am happy with this system. Fit and finish are ok. I haven't had any of the issues mentioned in other comments - bad connections, blown speakers etc... I'm using this system on a Yamaha RX-V4A and overall I'm very happy with the sound. I have a note: the powered subwoofer hums when the system is off. When it's on, you don't hear it but when it's off, it's very annoying. There's a switch to turn it on and off, but it sucks. I bought a smart plug that works with Alexa and verbally turns the subwoofer on and off when I want it. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the system.
