Review on Galco SB3 38H Dress Havana Brown by Chuck Derrick

Finally decided to take a risk and buy a pair of good belts after a year of sagging on one side. I ordered these mainly because I needed that specific color to match my casual shoes (shut up) and also because of Galco's good reputation. I will say that this is a quality belt regardless of its intended function. The leather and metal parts are beautiful and durable and go with everything. As a rifle sling it really makes a difference and keeps the gun where it should be, even for those who wear it low on the waist. Regardless, I keep this belt ONLY for its color. Do yourself a favor, go to YouTube and look for a video called "Wear Strap Comparison" by Albee4ty5. I'll wait . I have personally held an Aker belt in my hands and what you have just seen is very real. This galco does not offer this performance. In the video it is much closer to the Safariland belt. Also, we must not forget that this belt is very expensive. It's hard to overlook that as nice as this belt is, there is at least one alternative that works better and costs 2/3 less. My companion belt, black for everyday use, will be Aker.
