Problems with the throttle cable.

Difficulty installing the throttle cable on this carburetor. I'm wondering if I need a specific cable. I managed to attach a cable to the throttle and carb, but my throttle grip doesn't turn easily. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks
