I'm writing this review solely from a muscle recovery/growth (ie post-workout) perspective - I don't use protein supplements as meal replacements. That being said, I wanted to like this protein powder for two reasons: 1) I understand some people are sensitive to whey, so this might be a good option because it uses other types of protein than just whey, and 2) it's expensive, and me spent money on it. However, I have three main issues with it: 1) the aroma is so strong that I have to mix it with at least 24 ounces of water, at this point I'm just drenched by the time I'm done feeling gross. - just too much aroma; 2) it doesn't mix well so again you need at least 24 ounces of water and it still sticks together and again you're soggy and gross to the touch, and 3) it's expensive. Personally, I'd rather just drink Optimum Nutrition Whey, which dissolves easily in 6-8 ounces of water, rather than the 24 ounces required for this protein powder. 6-8 ounces of water versus 24 ounces of water makes a big difference. This way my muscles load and recover faster and I don't feel boggy and rough. Disclaimer: I'm not a representative of any supplement company, I'm just a regular person who plays sports - this is a completely independent review.
