Why is that thing so loud?

about the whole setup process. I use a Mac and am fortunately familiar with computers, but I can see that the typical client runs into problems. They included instructions on the process but honestly this is just a cheap printer. If noise (even when not in use) and offset don't bother you, I think it's ok. I would send it back if I had to leave it on all day luckily I can turn it off.
