The Mad Dog Concepts boys shorts are perfect for bedtime or around the house. The set of shorts comes in minimal packaging. They didn't give off any strange smells or chemical smells. My son is 5'10", 70lbs and normally wears a 10. However, I got these in a size 10-12 and found they fit slightly larger, but not overly so. My size 6-8 would probably be too small so the size I have is the best. Material - 100% Polyester. They have an elastic waistband. The material is thin but I don't find it see through as the fit is looser and not tight. Breathability is good which is perfect for my son who is hot and likes to wear shorts. middle of winter. My son can walk and run comfortably in the water without worrying that these shorts are too loose or too tight. My son said they are comfortable and doesn't mind wearing them at all. Please note that he is very picky about clothes. There are no noteworthy loose threads or loose seams. It washes well in the cold and tumble dry low.
