This cable is the strongest I have found. My 50 lb dog broke 3 ties and 3 different collars. By her rating, she shouldn't have been on any of them. 1 star deduction for the hooks. That's the guy my dog kind of descended from. I had to close the velcro and attach another one. The catch that is there is the guy that just swings like a gate. This isn't the type of tie that works best when it slides in and out. 2/26/2013 It hasn't failed where others have and still looks in perfect condition. She is just active and pulls her ties very hard. I even saw her running from one end of her space to the other, trying to get free. Dogs. this one seems to think of nothing but what she will do when she is free.
