Review on Sony - C400 Wireless Behind-Neck In Ear Headphone White (WIC400/W) by Agata Paliga ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

For nearly two years, that has been my go-to. As the wires are so lengthy, I had to reroute them out of the case to avoid further damage to the frayed end that had already formed due to the stress of the cracking. In cold weather, the wire could potentially freeze, rendering it useless. It started failing to charge, now it won't charge until you dance with tambourines, and it won't start again once it's been charged, and clearing the settings didn't help. I don't think it's worth it, or at least it's going to cost a lot, and I'm used to living this way. While they may be Sony brand, the space-age price tag belies the headphones' middling sound quality. Assume that they won't hold up to repeated, strenuous use if you squeeze them too hard. The fact that they are wireless is the only benefit.

Pros
  • Capable of retaining a charge for a considerable amount of time. The sounds are quite decent. Nonetheless, I have not encountered a more impressive tone. There is no tugging sensation like with headphones that hang below the battery and over the ears.
Cons
  • It's useless as a headset because there's no microphone. If you want to be heard clearly, you should position the microphone close to your mouth. The first few times you wear it, it feels like a noose around your neck, but after a while, you become used to it. There isn't a case to store them in, but considering how big they are, you'll have to figure out a way to do so on your own.
