I have never clipped dogs before but I was trying to save a few bucks here and there so I decided to give it a try. After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this hair clipper and so far my experience has been great. I've only used them once but they worked exactly how I needed them to. The guide combs helped keep my Lhasa/Bichon's fluffy coat from being clipped too short, but the clippers cut through the thick coat with ease. I love that it runs on batteries and that it comes with two batteries so you can always have one charged. I just wish it had two ports on the charger so I can charge both batteries at the same time. However, one battery was enough for me to get the job done. Relatively easy to disassemble and clean the scissors. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. hp Don't judge my grooming skills (or lack thereof). My dog is very old, she has dementia, so she's a moving target. It turned out to be a challenge.
