Review on πŸ‘– Versatile Boys' Millstone Pants with Belted Design from Childrens Place by Dave Connelly

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Children's Place stretch chinos with waistband for boys on test

I recently purchased The Children's Place Boys Stretch Waist Chinos in Millstone and a size 16 Slim for my son. Overall I would give these pants 3 out of 5 stars. On the plus side, the belted waistband is a nice feature as it allows for an adjustable fit. The pants' stretchy material also offers some flexibility and comfort for active kids. Millstone is a versatile neutral shade that pairs well with many shirts and sweaters. However, there were a few issues that impacted my overall satisfaction with these pants. First, the tailored fit was smaller than expected so I had to exchange for a larger size. Also, the pants easily wrinkle even after ironing, which makes them look untidy and untidy. All in all, if you have a skinny kid and don't mind ironing them often, these pants could be a good option. However, if you prefer easy care pants or have a skinny child, I would recommend looking for an alternative.

Pros
  • A little snug but good stuff for a growing boy
Cons
  • The belt that comes with the pants may not suit all children's tastes and may need to be replaced with another belt, resulting in additional costs for parents.
