They look like they are made out of rough, cheap t-shirt material. Having styled my hair in one, I felt fine for an hour, the hair tie lost its shape and started falling off almost immediately. If you stretch them for a few seconds, they stay stretched to three times their original size. What good is a hair tie that doesn't return to its original size after stretching for THREE SECONDS? I don't understand why they have such high ratings. They may have been made from a different material in an earlier version. I threw everything away. Maybe worth $2 for the whole package because of the quality.
