The quality and appearance were better than we expected. My daughter is 7 years old and wears a teen/kids US size 3.5. I bought her a size 4 and they were a bit larger than expected but I'm glad we went up a size as they are large and have a velcro closure, they feel very secure and we assume that will we will be using them for a few more years. They are surprisingly comfortable and don't feel heavy (which I expected). I bought shoes with only one wheel, my daughter has no skating experience, this is her first attempt. She learns to use them within 3 days but I'm already seeing improvement. The backlight is rechargeable and you get many light color options. There is a small button on the shoe that allows you to choose your light color. The button and charging insert are protected by their own Velcro, the charger is included, both shoes can be charged at the same time. The wheel can be easily hidden at the push of a button. It was such a good purchase, I want to buy myself a pair lol. I will try to upload pictures. my comment doesn't do them justice
