Review on 🌡️ Joes Racing 54005 Pyrometer: Accurate Temperature Measurement with Adjustable Probe by Matt Conner

I bought the unit about 6 months ago and it was in the box until last month. It is easy to read and takes temperature readings quickly. Other than that I wouldn't trust it. When I first used it it doesn't turn off, there should be an auto shut off, and holding down the power button doesn't turn it off. After 1 day of use, the batteries are dead because it stays on all the time. I contacted Joe's Racing Company directly to see if they have any type of guarantee and have had no response from them. If I knew I was spending that much on something the company doesn't endorse, I'd happily spend a little more on something else. If the manufacturer ever responds to me I will update this review but there has been no response for several weeks.
