Great price for this replacement. OEM costs a lot of money, but for good reason. It has extra cushioning and better hardware and overall quality. The material of this replacement is light weight plastic compared to OEM Honda which is a stronger composite. So the next time someone breaks your mirror, they have to put in less effort. Frame, screw and mirror dimensions are OEM. So you get lower quality materials and hardware, but they're the right size, work as advertised (pan/tilt and fold) and I didn't experience any wobble like others have said. I give it a 4/5 although I had to make some adjustments because the repair took less than an hour, saved me a ton of money and the end result was very satisfactory. Please note that the rubber seal is of poor quality. and prevents the mirror from landing on the body. I've seen others complain about this in their reviews. I decided to reuse the original mirror's gasket as it was in good condition. To do this I had to unplug the connector at the end of the wiring harness so I could thread it through the gasket. It's not difficult to remove the plug, did you figure it out yourself with the help of "Poker" for Nagel-GFs? lol The photos show damage to the original mirror. The gold part of the mirror still worked, three easily accessible screws remove the black mechanism, I was going to Frankenstein to put the OEM mount and replacement mirror, but the replacement mechanism didn't quite match the OEM. The next photo is the cheap gasket that came with the TYC replacement. Then the factory seal after I installed it on the replacement arm/mirror. And finally, the wires are removed from the connector. NOTE: To remove the connector, simply pull up on the locking mechanism. Then (looking inside the connector) press the protrusions under the wires with a pointed object. Pull on the wires and viola! You are an electrician! Pay attention to the color of the veins!
