My 4 year old son is obsessed with soccer. He's got them in all shapes and sizes, and he even watches each team's games and highlights on YouTube. It's small and can't use heavy ones as it's still learning, so we love the weight and size of this Nerf football. However this is our second and this one lasted 2 or 3 weeks before it started to peel off. These are all indoor games (we're in Wisconsin and it's too cold outside). He plays every day but sometimes not even that football because we have other greats that he likes to play. I don't understand how it can be of such poor quality that this type of indoor play can flake off so much with a 4 year old. He just plays with it, doesn't kick it. Our dog doesn't chew on it. As soon as it starts to peel off, the foam inside will start to loosen and spread all over the carpet. Pooh!
