Too light Wind blows it off course

This ball is too light. Bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. We tried throwing it in a light wind for about 15 minutes. The wind blew him off course and threw him out of the spiral. more weight.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not like old Nerf turbo footballs.

I was disappointed with this Nerf football. It's too light and very slippery. I have big hands and the ball is difficult to hold and catch due to the slick outer material. I was hoping it would be similar to the old Nerf Turbo footballs which had spiral patterns and were grippier.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Updates

Didn't last more than a summer.

A normal football for the price. It was light, great shape and color. There isn't much grip as it often bounces off your hand when you try to catch it, no matter how hard or soft someone throws it at you. It's helped us get through most of the summer, but the material is tearing and starting to chip. I ended up throwing it away.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Very expensive

Small, lightweight ball for the little ones

This is a small, lightweight foam ball. It's too easy to throw properly at any range, and spiraling isn't really possible. I would recommend this for very young children (under 5) who are only a few feet apart and don't really play 'soccer'. You need to upgrade to something heavier/bigger if you want to play ball.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are flaws

Soft, light and comfortable to grip. Great colour, good to see.

Soft, lightweight and easy to handle, Nerf footballs have been popular with kids and parents for decades. No playground injuries with them. As another reviewer noted, those same qualities make a good spiral pass difficult, but we agree with that tradeoff. In addition, the topping is easily rubbed off the road surface, exposing its spongy and absorbent core - the Nerf ball it replaces has become a dirty, wet, football-shaped sponge. But even at this price we are satisfied. This particular item…

slapped the child in the face but he is still crying.

Excellent football. I play with my daughters and both are terrible at catching the ball. Imagine the Statue of Liberty with both arms up. and the eyes are closed. this is her "capturing pose". They pray for the ball to go straight into their hands. and when it does, it usually bounces off and falls to the ground. They are so scared of the projectiles that I had to move them 3 feet away and they gradually learned to pump the muzzle and as we get further and further they are still scared and go…

  • Durable finish

Foam peeling and breaking in less than a month

My 4 year old son is obsessed with soccer. He's got them in all shapes and sizes, and he even watches each team's games and highlights on YouTube. It's small and can't use heavy ones as it's still learning, so we love the weight and size of this Nerf football. However this is our second and this one lasted 2 or 3 weeks before it started to peel off. These are all indoor games (we're in Wisconsin and it's too cold outside). He plays every day but sometimes not even that football because we have…
