I'm a teacher so I don't have much money to buy better ones but I don't want to use junk for my clothes. I bought Paul Fredrick as a good middle ground and was going to try Charles Tyrwitt or Brooks Brothers but settled on some Eagle shirts. I wear regular cotton most of the time, but I don't have time to iron and starch my own shirts anymore, and washing my shirts weekly is on the teacher's budget (it was nice when I had a shirt and wore a tie and wore a shirt polo or sport shirt the rest of the time, but now that I wear a tie and shirt every day it adds up). So I decided that I wanted some non-iron shirts in addition to my "regular" shirts. I started with a non-iron eagle check shirt in a department store. I was pleasantly surprised that unlike many unironed shirts, these look almost as good as shirts that have been starched and crisply ironed. They fit great, look great and are very comfortable. I now have 4 non-iron Eagle shirts! I can still try CT or BB shirts, but now I know you can get a GOOD men's shirt for less than $50. I will buy more in the future.
