Well made but the material is not what I expected

is the ironing fabric used on this shirt. It seems durable enough and has good wrinkle resistance, but doesn't feel like a traditional 100% cotton Oxford. This thin but dense fabric has a shiny and transparent appearance. If you hold a light you would expect it to be transparent, although I don't think it actually is. But sweat shows and sticks. The fabric/weave is not as rich as regular cotton and doesn't seem to "breathe" like some of the other iron free oxfords I've had. Perhaps less of an…

Also fits, too big.

The problem is this shirt is WAY big. If I were 350-400lbs that would be fine, but at 6ft 2,200lbs (not skinny by any means) with a 17" neck I have room for a friend with me. It's not about "slim fit" and "classic fit". While my body type is more suited to a slim fit (shoulders are noticeably wider than waist), I have regular fit shirts and although they are a little loose, nothing of the sort. I have a 38 inch waist as measured with a tape measure (again, I'm not skinny) and I measured - I had

Great shirts - maybe a new favorite

I'm a teacher so I don't have much money to buy better ones but I don't want to use junk for my clothes. I bought Paul Fredrick as a good middle ground and was going to try Charles Tyrwitt or Brooks Brothers but settled on some Eagle shirts. I wear regular cotton most of the time, but I don't have time to iron and starch my own shirts anymore, and washing my shirts weekly is on the teacher's budget (it was nice when I had a shirt and wore a tie and wore a shirt polo or sport shirt the rest of…

The perfect shirt in shirts

We bought several of these shirts in white and they were the best we found. Eagle shirts are now the ones we look for when a new purchase is required. They iron nicely (and easily) and then hold up well all day, even in the humid summer heat. The fabrics are of a very high quality and the details used, including the loop yoke at the back, are usually only found on expensive shirts twice the price. They won't wear out, roll, fade or lose their shape. If you're on a budget, treat yourself to…

Red ink shirts

Ordered on Monday for inspection on Tuesday and funeral on Wednesday. Arrived Tuesday morning as we were leaving. My husband needed a new white shirt for the occasion, so we quickly unbuttoned it and started ironing out the wrinkles. Looks like a great shirt except for the 1/2 inch red ink near the pocket where she was seen wearing a jacket and tie. I pulled out my Clorox pen and touched it, rubbed it, applied more, rubbed it, applied some more. In the end I rinsed and ironed the parts that…

As advertised without an iron, great fit and feel.

Great shirt, I will buy more. I'm a busy guy and I prefer not to iron my clothes. My favorite rough white shirt was getting old and starting to fade. My wife bought me 2 new ones that needed ironing after washing. I was looking for Revain and found this. It has now replaced my favorite white shirt and I will be ordering more. Good wearing comfort, the material is just right for me, not too thick and not thin. And as advertised, it's not iron! After washing and drying, you can hang it on a…

Looks professional without ironing, super durable.

My son has been wearing these shoes to school for 2 years and they are starting to look a little tired. I just bought more. They come out clean as a pin IF you take them out of the dryer slightly damp and hang them on a hanger. If not, they can still be worn very discreetly, they just don't look perfectly ironed. I wash them with lots of other things and sometimes add some bleach (in other words I don't spoil them) which I don't think should be done. They don't look like cheap wash-and-wear…
