is the ironing fabric used on this shirt. It seems durable enough and has good wrinkle resistance, but doesn't feel like a traditional 100% cotton Oxford. This thin but dense fabric has a shiny and transparent appearance. If you hold a light you would expect it to be transparent, although I don't think it actually is. But sweat shows and sticks. The fabric/weave is not as rich as regular cotton and doesn't seem to "breathe" like some of the other iron free oxfords I've had. Perhaps less of an issue for those who don't live in a hot and humid region like me. I will continue to recommend this brand, but I just don't like their non-smooth fabric.
