My son has been wearing these shoes to school for 2 years and they are starting to look a little tired. I just bought more. They come out clean as a pin IF you take them out of the dryer slightly damp and hang them on a hanger. If not, they can still be worn very discreetly, they just don't look perfectly ironed. I wash them with lots of other things and sometimes add some bleach (in other words I don't spoil them) which I don't think should be done. They don't look like cheap wash-and-wear shirts, which I don't like, nor do they look like a super-fresh $200 shirt that needs to be taken to a good dry-cleaner. You look right in the middle. Very happy with this product. They're also great for college kids who do their own laundry but never iron it!
