Plantar fasciitis and a cleft tibia prevented me from running and even walking for years, so I decided to try barefoot running. I was amazed at how different people run and walk barefoot, but I also quickly noticed that walking barefoot wears out the skin pretty quickly. After that, I decided to try "nude" shoes. I haven't tried other similar shoes so I can't compare them but these fit me really well. The only place I don't wear them is at work as I work in an industrial environment and my feet feel great. They offer little to no support, only protection, allowing the mechanics of the foot to function as they are supposed to. The fit, at least for men's size 44, is perfect. They also breathe quite well, but get uncomfortable pretty quickly as they are worn without socks. No big deal as you can just toss the insoles in the washer and dryer along with your clothes once a week. I definitely recommend them.
