I love pleasant surprises and this mic turned out a lot better than I expected. The omnidirectional mic, as mentioned, is pretty resilient to pop music considering it's going to be placed right next to your mouth. Good frequency response for close voice pickup. Low self-noise and no hum even when I extended the cable 20 feet. Very easy to wear but it stays in place if you wear it right! Different from the mannequin in the picture. I wore it while the camera took long shots of me (from head to toe) and it was practically invisible. I see that some had problems using it with different computers/sockets/soundcards/etc. to get it running. I'm afraid mine went through the adapter and into the mic channel, so all I can say is say; do some research on your hardware to avoid disappointment. If it works for you, this is a great little mic.
