Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ High-Speed USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 7, XP, Linux, Chrome OS by Jimmy Bhat

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as advertised and manages gigabit.

Advantages: The Linux kernel has a suitable built-in driver. Powers gigabit when connected to a USB 3.0 port. Haven't tested gigabit duplex. Supports checksum offloading like any other known network adapter. Works well when negotiating connection speed and duplex mode. USB with support in all relevant operating systems. (Sorry, FreeBSD and Solaris.) Has a blue plastic tab pointing to USB 3.0. Thick cable, most likely shielded or twisted pair. These things. The plug is made of plastic, so shielded cables are not grounded. Query USB. The overlay of USB is not yet known, observed.
