I can't tell you how happy I was to unbox this only to be completely disappointed after removing the greasy pouch from this product. So it's made for paper use, so it shouldn't be oily at all (except for the gears inside). There are other scratches on the ends of the machine. It was difficult to change the position of the hammer, cutter and cutting edge as the parts you loosen and tighten are poorly designed and bite into the metal. To be honest the whole machine is poorly designed because you have to tighten the cutting tool with every cut! If I put a lot of paper through this I had better not waste time as each sheet of paper is fed through the machine. The measurements made no sense to me either. If the machine was really working properly I could probably find a way for the guides, but for my testing I used a small T-square. There's also a green button that does absolutely nothing - I don't even think it was mentioned in the fuzzy instructions I got.
