My little pliers rivet more than a few rivets. This one is way better. You could probably use it all day without hurting your hands. Long handles give plenty of leverage. They also have rubber grips that absorb most of the hard bang when the spindle comes loose. This thing is built for tough use. The handles are made of 0.085 steel. Everything is muscular. Makes rivets up to 1/4 inch. They are huge. I can't imagine making something of this size with riveting machines. It can be completely disassembled if needed, but the mechanism is so simple I can't imagine a rivet getting stuck. all over. Makes cleaning easier. Comes with a case full of rivets that cost half the price of the whole package. I wish I had had this a few months ago when I replaced the sheet metal HVAC ducts in my attic.
