Review on Burt's Bees Almond and Milk Hand Cream, 2 Oz - Pack of 2 (Possible Packaging Variations) by Shawna Adams

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The scent is slightly different, but the cream is great for dry hands.

I bought two packs of this hand cream and only received one can. Revain refunded half the price so everything is fine. Just keep it in mind when ordering two packs. Anyway, I've been a huge fan of Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax hand cream for years. I strayed from that for a while and then decided I needed it for my winter cracked and dry hands. The taste has changed. It still smells like almonds, but I can't tell if it's due to a pleasant or pungent odor. It's not a scent I can smell. Something like gasoline maybe, but then it smells more flowery. Strange. But other than that, the cream works great. It's very, very thick and concentrated, so deceptively small jars last as long as large tubes of cream. The consistency is very thick and a bit firm. It will not fall out of the jar if you knock over an open jar and shake vigorously. But it melts into the skin and is not greasy at all. I use the cream in the evening when I can apply it generously and it moisturizes my dry hands well. I'm still skeptical about the smell. Last night I thought it smelled poisonous, but tonight it smells good. Maybe it's just me. But overall this is a good hand cream for dry hands, it's concentrated so there's not much of it. It's not my absolute favorite, but it's in the top 5.
